Sharina Merid, JD

Sharina Merid works as Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Director for SageView’s Compliance Team. Her responsibilities include supervising sales activities, conducting branch audits, and ensuring that the firm is following stated policies and procedures.

Prior to joining SageView, Sharina worked for six years at Pacific Life Insurance Company, where she was a Senior Compliance Analyst and Retirement Strategies Consultant. Before that, Sharina worked for Cetera Advisor Networks LLC in El Segundo, CA as a Lead Compliance Analyst in the Regulatory Compliance Department.

Sharina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles and a J.D. from Whittier Law School. She currently holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations, as well as a California life and health insurance license.
